Be Home Before Dinner (2009/2010)


These portraits juxtaposed with Norwegian landscapes relate to our desire for virtual escapism. The images reflect my own personal yearning to explore and travel to far and distant lands. The View-master is on one hand simply a stereoscopic slide viewer, but on the other hand takes the viewer to places free of time and space and in a way more enticing than the actual experience. Be Home Before Dinner is a narration about travel without one needing to even leave their own home.
